Put some pasta on to cook.

Use tuna in oil if you have some. Pour a bit of the oil from the tuna into a pan and fry some onion and garlic (if you have it). Pour away the rest of the oil. Add the tuna to the pan, and heat through and mix up for a minute.

Add a tin of chopped tomatoes and some mixed herbs or oregano, and a little pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add to cooked pasta twirls.

To make it into a 'bake' pile it all into an oven dish, and top with cheese.
Bake for half an hour.

Cooks.com have some great recipes
http://www.cooks.com/rec/search/0,1-0,tuna_pasta_bake,FF.html

My way -, I cook some pasta - usually penne or shells, then sautee an onion in a pan with a little butter & a little diced bacon, some garlic, basil & a sprinkle of cumin or curry powder (not a lot).
Then I add a can of tomatoes, a tablespoon of tomato paste and sometimes some corn, a can of tuna and a little chicken stock. Add the pasta & stir in, transfer to a casserole dish, top with cheese (and mashed potato if I need to feed a few more mouths) then bake for arpprox 20 minutes at around 400F - the ingredients are all cooked, so you're just browing the top.

Easy :-)

Serve with a salad.

Haha, you dnt just stick pasta and tuna in the oven.. euwww. Best thing is a tomato/cheese sauce, a few herbs, garlic, onion and sweetcorn with the tuna. Pour over the cooked pasta and cook in oven for 20 mins or so.
Also sprinkle some cheese/crushed crisps on the top before baking.

The best tuna bake i have made is:
Mix 3 tablespoons of cornflour with half pint of milk, bring to the boil, once thick, add a handful of full flavour cheddar cheese and tin of tuna, mix together with some boiled penne pasta, put in a glass oven dish and put breadcumbs and cheese on top, cook in over for 20 mins on medium temeperature

here's another variation....cook pasta till just about done. Mix a can of mushroom soup with milk and heat through...don't use all the milk called for or it will be a little too soupy...add tuna. Pour over pasta and put in a baking dish...cover with crushed ritz crackers or saltines that you have mixed with a little melted butter...bake at 350 for 25-30 min or until hot and bubbly

Yeah, find the tuna helper section in your supermarket, pick something that you think might be yum, and get a can of tuna to go with it. Make sure you got butter and milk, too. Tuna, Pasta, plus flavor is a great team.

Ciao! I'm Italian and I often cook linguine or spaghetti with a simply tuna sauce.. I think you can use the recipe for the sauce to put in your pasta bake
my recipe
linguine - 400 (grams)
tuna fish under oil - 200 (grams)
peeled tomatoes - 300 (grams)
anchovies - 3
parsley - 1 (spoon)
garlic - 1 (slices)
olive oil - pepper - salt

Fry slightly garlic in the oil, undo the fillets of anchovies and some fillets of tuna fish. Let it be cooked for some minutes. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper. At the end of cooking add parsley. Boil and drain saw-toothed linguine and dress them with the sauce.

buy a jar of tomato sauce (with basil is best) add a tin of tuna (in oil, if you use in brine its horrible!) put the sauce and tuna in a oven proof dish and add half a jar of water, mix in the dried pasta and put in the oven on a medium heat. Sprinkle with cheese for the last 10 mins. yummy!
