There is no such thing as a "Biblical trinity" because the trinity is NOT in the Bible. The trinity is defined by the Athanasian Creed as follows: "So there is One Father, not Three Fathers; one Son, not Three Sons; One Holy Ghost, not Three Holy Ghosts. And in this Trinity none is afore or after Other, None is greater or less than Another, but the whole Three Persons are Co-eternal together, and Co-equal."
Is there anything in the Bible that says God is made up of 3 co-equal, co-eternal "persons"? Nowhere! At Ps. 83:18, it calls Jehovah the Most High, but at Luke 1:32, it says that Jesus is the SON of the Most High. How then can Jesus be God? Besides, he himself said at John 14:28: "The Father is greater than I am."
The trinity is not a Bible concept. It is based solely on the Catholic Athanasian Creed--a man-made doctrine.

The New Encyclopoedia Britannica says:
"Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord' Deut.6:4...The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controveries. ... by the end of the 4th century...the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since."
The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: "The formulation 'one God in three Persons' was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the trinity dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective." (1967), vol XIV, p299

you're proper - the Trinity as such isn't said in the Bible. The doctrine of the Trinity comes from piecing at the same time numerous information and reaching a end which looks to me (a minimum of) to be both mandatory and logical. some are little issues - like the actual shown actuality that the Hebrew be conscious used to point "the Lord" is a plural noun continuously used in a unique experience. some are somewhat more advantageous dramatic - Christ's statement in John 10:30 that "I and the daddy are one." finally, certain, it should be argued both way - even if the vast majority of orthodox Christianity is on the area of the Trinity.

The trinity is not a Bible teaching if it were then the trinity would be explained clearly and consistently in the Bible or all to understand, Why? Because, as the apostles affirmed, the Bible is God’s revelation of himself to mankind. And since we need to know God to worship him acceptably, the Bible should be clear in telling us just who he is.
First-century believers accepted the Scriptures as the authentic revelation of God. It was the basis for their beliefs, the final authority. For example, when the apostle Paul preached to people in the city of Beroea, “they received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things were so.”-Acts 17:10, 11.If Jesus was God, then why would he say he is the Son of God?(John10:36)Why would God say that Jesus is his Son the beloved?(Matthew3:16,17)Does it really make sense that both God and Jesus would say that Jesus is God's Son if he were realy God or some part of a trinity? No personally I believe God and Jesus his Son and the Bible rather than men! (Deoutronomy6:4 ; Malachi2:10 ; Mark10:18 ; Romans3:29,30) And there are many more scriptures that disagree with the trinity nd the three in one God.

This is very confusing to me aswell, I am a christian and I still don't know the significance of the Holy Trinity.
In the old testiment it says that God is a jealous God and we are only to worship one God.
If that is so, then why are we worshipping three, God the Holy father, God The son and God the Holy spirit?
I don't worship Jesus, I worship God through his son Jesus Christ.

Genesis 2: 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
When man and woman get married are they two or a freak of nature?
Maybe like God it means they agree as one unit. Except the trinity of God would agree with each other more perfectly than any married couple.

This one is a bit hard to understand. God is three in one. He is God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit. These three together create one entitity. The holy trinity. Jesus existed as God before he was sent to earth to live as man. And after the resurrection he was sent back to Heaven where he awaits his bride.(the church)

In Genesis 1:28, God says "Let us make man in Our image". He does so in Genesis 2:7, where he forms a 1)body from the elements of the earth, breaths into it the 2)spirit of life, and man becomes a living 3)soul.
Man is a single being that has three parts. Each is jsut as much "you" as any of the others. But they all operate in different realms, doing different things. The body operates in the physical realm. The soul contains the mind, will and emotions. The spirit communciates in the heavenly realm with God himself. But it takes all three functioning together to make a whole and working person.
God all manifest in each of the three realms. In the heavenly realm he appears as God the Father, and is the Creator and Substainer of all things. In the physical realm he appeared as God the Son (Jesus Christ) and gave his life as a ransom for the whole world. In the soul/heart he dwells as the God the Holy Spirit, manifesting the New Birth, and providing power and guidance for daily living.
Each of them is just as much "God" as any of the others. And it takes manifestation in all three realms to function properly.
So like man, God is a single people, who manifest as three different "persons" in the three realms of existence. That is how we are made in the Image of God.

God the Holy Spirit works in out hearts until we accept God the Son as our Savior that God the Father send so we can be His children. You can not accept one and not the other and if you accept Them you will know peace.
