Way too much sugar is in a Frappucino, and some kind of artificial thickener. That stuff is not good for you and is unbelievably fattening. The caramel ones have caramel flavoring. (Yes, I occasionally have one when it's really hot in the middle of the summer, but I know how bad it is for efforts at weight control.)

Normally at Starbucks if it's a hot day I just get a 20 oz. iced coffee and put in a lot of milk and artificial sweetener. Cheaper and not fattening.

If you wanted to do some kind of coffee frappe at home in the blender that would be better for you, you could do milk, espresso (or regular coffee) and ice. Or you could put in some vanilla ice cream and acknowledge that it's a dessert, not just a drink.
