I'm 19and my mom is 40, we live together. my dad has been away in another country for work. recently, my mom has been approaching me in a very weird way. the other day i was sitting and watching television. she came and sat beside me, then threw her arms around me , grabbed me by the chin and smooched me 5 or 6 wetly and hardly several times on the lips and asked me how i was. i was so shocked, that i took an excuse and escaped the scene. the other day, i was studying, when she suddenly came in, grabbed me by the chin again and kissed me with wide lips. I could trace the odor of her saliva on my lips. i was so embarrassed that I couldn't even do anything... why is she acting like this?

You may be reading more into this than is necessary, but only you can determine what is an appropriate kiss or hug from your own mother. Tell her if she's making you uncomfortable. Go, "Yuck!! Mom!! That was ickky!!" Say something like, "Give me a break," anything that lets her know you don't like it. Don't tolerate any inappropriate advances[and I sincerely hope this is not her intention}

I think your mother might be missing your father just a bit too much and is seeking a replacement in you. Put a stop to this RIGHT NOW, not only is it illegal but immoral aswell - next time she does something like that, immediately pull away and tell her you are her son not her lover

I don't know why she is doing this but if you immediately pulled away before she got too near... with a loud YUK! she might get the hint & stop!? Try saying: "Hey! mom, WHOA! I don't like that sort of thing! Don't do that!"

She is probably so sad your dad left she kisses you because thats what she did on your dad. She has to let it out on someone. You should take her to a psychitrist.

i think you should sit her down & ask what the kisses are about. it's best to be sure of what's going on before you do anything drastic!

you should ask her ,maybe your father is missing her or may be she wants to give you her affection but don't know how she should do it in the right way.this sound bizare to ask "how it was"you should phone your dad and explain the situation to him.
