NASCAR! is there any other sport! We've been to 9 different tracks, 22 races! Next week they roll out the "Car of Tomorrow", not sure if we like the new design. Took a vacation a few years ago to Mooresville, North Carolina toured about 10 garages, the Petty museum, & the RCR Museum. Been back to Dale Earnhardt Inc. 3 times! Dale Jr. is our most favorite driver.
Happy Harvick, Smoke, Michael Waltrip, Kenny Schrader are also favs.

Ihave followed NASCAR since 1960.I have watched the sport grow as well as lose popularity.I stuck with the sport from the days that"ABC Wide World of sports" showed a 30 or 40 minute segment and that was all the racing we got for 2 or 3 months to watching quailifing on Thursday,Busch quailifing and trucks on Friday and Busch race and Cup Practice on Saturday and CUP on Sunday.
So to say a fan yes,to say a fanatic no.
I enjoy the races and I enjoy a good finish .If my favorite wins good if not there is next week.

I really used to like nascar. Now it seems that they don't allow the drivers to race and there are so many petty rules that it is costing the owners millions of dollars to keep the teams going. There is a new rule every race. Can you see the NBA or NFL changing rules every game??? Aso, the rule that no car can display another cell phone logo is crazy. It's a monopoly and it won't be long before the government will steps in to set the France family straight.

I have been watching NASCAR for many years. I actually watched the Australian Grand Prix F1 race Saturday night on SPEED. Now I know why I watch NASCAR. That F1 has got to be the most boring crap. It was more of a parade of cars rather than a race. I would rather watch side by side action than single file parading any day.

I feel that NASCAR better watch out due to the fact that it is the only entity dishing out rules and and now trying to controll sponsorships. Maybe it will take a situtation like what happened to USAC many years ago when some top teams started another organization called CART!!!! Also, if a crew chief is banned from the track, so shouldn't all cell phones of his team so his voice is also banned from the track..

I love Nascar. My favorite driver is Matt Kenseth #17. I went to my first race back in 2000 with my husband just for the hell of it, and now I don't miss a race. I bought Sirius for the car radio just so I could hear the races when I'm not at home. How bad have I got it??

I like NASCAR along with other sports. I like Kasey Kahne since he was in his rookie season when I started watching. I didn't want to jump on the Dale, Jr. bandwagon, so I chose a new driver.

I've followed it for decades, went to races all over the USA. Began losing interest about 3 years ago, do not waste my money going to NASCAR races in person anymore. Quit renewing my season tickets at MIS-Brooklyn, MI four years ago, had them since 1969. They are forcing you to buy tickets to Busch and the stupid truck races as part of a package. So, now I spend my money on the local tracks. NASCAR can go pound sand.

I'll look at standings and what not but have been drawn away from the sport since it has gotten too commercialized. I know it takes sponsors to make the sport go around (no pun intended) but it seems like a greed fest. Some rules are just nuts. Drivers have to "tip toe" on camera to be "politically correct" and not able to speak whats on their mind because of the "kinder/gentler" America and they don't want to get their feelings hurt.
