I have a recipe that calls for 1 1/2 CUPS of shredded chicken. I am using frozen chicken breasts and have no idea how many to use. Thanks!

A cup is 8 oz. liquid or solid so if you needed 1 1/2 C. you would need 12 oz. of chicken

Since the size of the chicken breast can vary, I usually go by weight. One pound of raw boneless, skinless chicken produces approximately 3 cups of diced cooked chicken. One pound of raw bone-in chicken produces approximately 1 cup of diced cooked chicken.

I'd say probably two medium sized breast halves (one whole breast).
