OK......I am just about to smash my new computer with a sledge hammer.
I am on ebay and I need to QUICKLY edit 800+ pictures a day.
All I need is to crop and adjust brightness quickly
I bought Adobe Photoshop and it is WAY to slow. It will take me days to edit 800 pictures with Photoshop and I need it done in less than an hour.
I have also tried several others and I have yet to find one that lets me scroll through and edit quickly
Remember, I have Windows Vista and many programs are not compatable with Vista
PLEASE HELP, I am loosing hundreds of dollars every day that I cant edit my pictures!!

My old P.C has windows XP and it came with HP Image Zone Plus. With that program I could crop and adjust brightness/ contrast in less than 20 seconds per picture.
I need something that will go along about that fast

You should learn how to use the 'Actions' panel in Photoshop, just preset what you want it to do and press the play button.

I really think you are asking far to much to be able to edit 800 pictures in an hour! You can't consider batch conversion for presumably you need to consider the crops to be applied and the brightness adjustment individually for each picture. I can't see you doing those jobs - properly - in less than say 2 minutes a picture.
