I have no health insurance and cannot afford to see a dentist. I brush my teeth every day and have tried using Listerine, but that doesn't seem to help. Any inexpensive ideas would be truly appreciated.

I have tried the oragel type solutions and the pain relievers and they help some, but not completely. To the person who said dentists aren't expensive -none in my area take payments, it's $150-200 for first visit, and I work two full time jobs just to cover expenses already. Yes, they ARE expensive!

Find a clinic in your local area. Start by calling a local hospital and asking them where the nearest medical clinic can be found, and ask that medical clinic for the location of a dental clinic.

You could try finding dental students, who can do work but don't charge as much. You could buy oil of clove tincture, available at a pharmacy or painkillers which have at least two components. The best thing is to find out why your teeth are hurting. There are so many reasons. Different problems need different solutions. You may have been grinding your teeth on one side or there may be decay which is making all the teeth sensitive on that side. Have a good look in the mirror and post back on here what you find. Good luck.

If there is already a big cavity formed, the most inexpensive way is most likely-extraction. you may try to seek help from the dental care services provided by the governmental sector.

There are no inexpensive treatments for this. The first thing that needs to be ruled out is an abcess if there. that is the 1st thing that I think of that makes the side of your mouth sore.
