Liberals constantly attack the honor of our troops- accusing them of being rapists, torturers, etc..It's sickening- Liberals get more upset when Iraqis die- yet they seem glad when our soldiers are killed. Our heroic soldiers have put thier lives on the line to fight for our freedoms, yet all the liberals do is tear them down. WHY????? I realize most liberals hate America- but why do they have to go after our troops? Do liberals have nothing but hate inside them?..

The "Troops" have tortured and raped Iraqis, it has been proven and prosecutions have been made in these cases. Of course not all troops should be tarred with the same brush.
Most liberals do NOT hate America. Stop watching Fox News and believing that what corporate media says is true. Nobody is glad when people are killed in an unjust, illegal war started by the madman Bush and his cronies.
Do Neo-cons have nothing but hate inside them? One cannot have a sensible debate anymore without being accused of "hating America" or "not supporting the troops", which has become the shrill mantra of the conservatives.
Take time to educate yourself before tossing insults about. The person who yells the loudest is not always right, just louder.

No offense, but I think that your a little confused. I totally believe in the military and their ability to do there job, and am behind them 100%. However, it's the ADMINISTRATION that keeps changing their minds, asking the military to do something other than their specific jobs and create all of the problems that we currently have. If you think that liberals are the only ones that attack the honor of our troops, you obviously haven't heard of the Patriot Guard, or their reason for forming up. The Patriot Guard is a group of people, who ride motorcycles, and all (were) part of the American Legion, either being in the military, married to someone in the military or the son or daughter of someone in the military. The organization now allows any patriotic person to join their ranks, even if they don't have a motorcycle. The original purpose of the group was to go to funerals of veterans that have died in the war, and act as a barrier to the ULTRA CONSERVATIVE group of religious fanatics who try to equate the veterans death with the U.S. idea that gays and lesbians are allowed to exist. They yell at the families who have lost a loved one, saying that the reason their son (daughter, wife, mother, father, etc) has died, is because their god is punishing the US for allowing gays to exist. So don't confuse people, like myself who believe that in America you can do both support our troops as well as have and voice their opinion that may be different from yours. Oh, by the way....how many years did you spent in the military?

I am Liberal and I support the troops, I support them SOOOO Much that I think they should come home NOW! You seem to be mistaken in saying that liberals attack the honor of the troops by accusing them of being rapists, torturers, etc....It is not the troops fault they are committing these crimes in Iraq but the leadership of our country that is ordering them to committ these crimes. You really should pick up a news paper, watch a documentary or listen to what the Generals and soliders are saying when they leave Iraq. Unlike the Walter Reed incedent, they have not yet been ordered to not speak out about Iraq....yet.

Jesus Christ, do you believe everything Fox News tells you? When have you ACTUALLY seen someone who says they are a liberal jump up and down for joy when an American troop is killed? You haven't. Liberals do support the troops, by wanting them to come home from a country we have absolutely no reason to be occupying, and dying for nothing, just like they did in Somalia.
As for being rapists and torturers, a few bad apples can easily ruin a groups reputation. The fact that our troops HAVE been convicted of rape and torture (by our own courts) does not shed favorable light on us to the rest of the world.
I have nothing but respect for the hard job our troops are faced with. But our troops should be home protecting our borders.

Excuse me son. But it is not liberals who sent our forces to Iraq without body armor, armored Humvees,enough troops to do the job properly or a hospital to do limb replacement and rehab which would not have been shut down by any health department in the country. It is also not the liberal who totally ignored Afganistan to pursue a war for the benifit of Halliburton. It is not the liberal who thinks it okay to keep randomly captured people on an island in the Carribean without charges, trials or legal representation. It was not liberals who instructed the Abu Graib guards to torture captured people. It is not the liberal who recently got sentenced for raping 13 year olds and murdering the family afterwards.
Support for the troops. If you think my opposition to the crap that this "conservative" administaration has pushed onto our voluntary army means I do not support our troops you are sadly mistaken. I support our troops. My biggest act of support is expecting and demanding a good reason for putting our children and reserves in harms way for a preemptive action for an immoral purpose based on lies.
Frankly your lack of understanding is the key to my nausea.
Support for the troops. You do not know what support for the troops is.
I don't know how old you may be, but based on your question I'd bet you are the right age to go enlist and do your duty.
If you are so willing to "support" the troops lend a hand.
Recruiting numbers are down nationwide, they need you.

My husband is in the military and will be deploying very soon, while I don't believe that all liberals believe what you are saying, I agree to a degree.
It seems that many of those who have all ready answered this support the military and I and all the military I'm sure thanks them. But the truth is, sometimes it just seems like they are against the troops, atleast it is portrayed that way.
My husbands entire family is liberal, they HATED the fact that he joined the military, which angered me but hey thats life. What got me was when people call him and other military membes murderers, and things of that nature. I don't want to anger anyone but It puts a bad taste in our mouths. I don't tar all liberals with the same brush, I'm a moderate myself, but there are those that give liberals a bad name. They are called extremists.

I'm a liberal. I support our troops 100%. I can support the troops and still be against sending them to die in a foolish war that is just making Dick Cheney a richer man than he already is. This doesn't make me a traitor, and it doesn't make me non-supportive of those poor guys over there in the trenches.

I think all liberals support the troops more than you will ever know. your perception of liberals is completely off base. Where you get these perceptions is beyond me, but just know that liberals care more about America than any neo con will ever in their lifetime. and liberals do not hate America.. They just know the truth in their hearts and are saddened by it....
