This plant is Hoya carnosa. Common name is wax plant. It is in the asclepiad family - same family as many milkweeds. It is a pretty easy to care for house plant. This is the most commons species but there are some other really awesome species out there too.

That looks like a "hoya" but I don't know the full name.
