If that's the standard price for an original, I doubt it will differ elsewhere, not by more than a few dollars anyway. You'll have to either bite the bullet and pay it I'm afraid, or see if you can purchase a copy. You could always put a want ad in eBay and hope that someone has one they'd consider selling.
