Im 30 and Ive tried lessons professionally and with parents, taken the test multiple times and still cant pass. This brings me to tears as I sometimes feel like a prisoner in my own home. My husband resents taking me to work, and I cant even get to the grocery store by myself. Recently there was a company event 5 minutes from my house, and noone would drive me. This is holding me back in my life and causing me great depression. Has anyone ever overcome this obstacle? My gramma was 50 and Id rather get my license as quickly as possible. Im mocked and treated like an outcast, like a second class citizen.

My Mom got hers later in life too (older than you). Maybe you are putting too much pressure on yourself when you take the test. The next time you try, remind yourself to relax, take deep breaths, etc. You will make it and it will open up a whole new world for you. Good luck
