hot water feels great, doesn't it?

when taking a shower hot water is okay...if you slather yourself with lotion after you get out...hot water tends to dry out your skin...

hot water can also strip oils from your hair...

i was told to go ahead and take a hot shower but before getting out let some cool water hit you and that will firm up skin (breasts) and rinsing your hair in cool water helps it look better (i forgot why).

anyway...hope that helped a bit

If your hair is colored, hot water is not the best. It opens up the cuticle and lets the color molecules escape more quickly, causing the color to fade. So I wouldn't recommend washing your hair with hot water. Warm is ok, and some recommend rinsing with cool or cold water to shut the cuticle - creating a more smooth look ( as long as you're not too rough while towel drying).

I like very hot showers. However, I was told by my hair dresser that really hot water is bad for your hair because it strips the moisture. I was told to rinse my hair in luke warm water after conditioning.

i heard from a hairstylest that hot water loosens the pores and lets the hair follicles slip out (causing hair thinning and or balding:( and its better to wash your hair in luke warm water ;)
