I don't know why but I get depress alot lately, maybe I feel alone.. maybe i pick up stress/anger from the people i live with.. iono.. don't really know why I'm depressed.. I'm in college but it's been a while since I moved away for college, so it shouldn't last this long if moving away for college was the reason..... it's kinda random... Does anyone ever feel this way? Maybe sometimes you feel like you don't have a purpose, that the stuff you do is pointless.. that life in general is repetitive.. and people get moody over things that don't matter much (reminds me of me.. how ironic) ? Maybe it's my major, since i can't really see how architecture can contribute to society, so what I'm doing is pointless?.. I don't really know the reason.. How do you get over your depression?

You could see a professional (doctor)
It could be something that you will just have to work through on your own. Learn yourself and try to find your reliefs to these feelings.
It could be the time of year. After the weather gets better and a person can get out to enjoy the weather, it may get better. I tend to blame the weather for lots of feelings like this--if it is just random.
It could be hormones. Sometimes in life, if we think too much, it can be depressing. Keep busy, and try not to think of life, our worth, etc.
My opinion--just me.

We really need energy efficient buildings that combine thermal mass, insulation, natural airflow exhausting up high, without being ugly, but not expensive, and environmentally friendly. You do that, and you will have REALLY ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING USEFUL, that will make you famous and your designs copied for many years. Do 2 versions, temperate & tropical; the tropical should be light in color, to reflect heat, capable of being constructed on stilts, to use natural breezes, and have 3 wide verandahs sunnyside. Try to incorporate the new, space age insulation, and hollow plastic/metal containers that are filled with water into walls: they can also double as rainwater storage, diverting the first, dusty, dirty water & filtering the rest. See http://www.selfhelpmagazine.com Meditation room; try it out; mantra meditation; repeat: "easy", 20 mins daily, and when adverse situations arise. Also http://www.beattheblues.info/? & www.depression.com Exercise vigorously for 30 - 60 mins daily, eat healthily, & keep occupied.

sex, therapy and medication. lol. Seriously, you should get in contact with someone at your school for counseling. This person can help you decide whether you should try medication as well. Depression can be treated, but you have to take a little initiative. It's well worth it.
