Definitely Japanese. That's just from my limited knowledge of English, French, Spanish, and Japanese.
Japanese is very interesting though. I like it because it's so different from English. It's also quite complex. In English we have only one alphabet with 26 letters. In Japanese there are 2 "alphabets", our alphabet is also used, and then there's kanji (Chinese characters). Sometimes you can find Japanese sentences with all 4 writing systems, and nobody in Japan would even think it's strange.
I think Mandarin Chinese must be pretty cool though. Instead of the 2000 or so kanji that Japanese use, Chinese uses only kanji, and a lot more. Also, there are many more sounds in Chinese. Japanese is pretty limited that way.
As a Westerner though, I'm pretty happy I've studied Japanese. At least it's one Asian language. Learning other European languages is cool, but pales in comparison. Europeans share a lot of the same basic culture no matter how diverse we may think those countries are. They're not THAT different when compared to some Asian countries.
When you learn Japanese coming from a Western background, you're not simply learning how to translate word for word, you're learning a whole new way of thinking.

Japanese is probably the most beautiful asian language, but to my western ears I don't find it incredibly lovely to listen to or speak. The only languages I have fluency in are Japanese, Spanish, and English so I can't say to much for other languages, but personally I think that Spanish is quite beautiful but still comes in second to Italian. So as far as elegance goes I would say Italian is number one, but Russian also sounds quite pleasing to my ears as well. Personally, I detest the "hacking" languages like German and dutch, they sound way to harsh and violent. Lastly in terms of coolest I would have to hand it to Japanese, the language is so logical it's incredible and the culture behind the languages is awesome to boot!

well being an anime addict, i also agree Japanese is one of the most elegant languages. And being a Filipino i think Philippine languages specifically Tagalog and Ilocano are also cool. Irish is also cool, i love the word spelling and the comma top of the letters, as well as the pronunciation.

How about Brazillian Portuguese? Has anyone here heard portuguese before? I am trying to learn it myself but slowly. Maybe its my age or something, since I'm 41, and they say its easier for kids to learn languages than adults.
