i need to have eye drops in my eyes at the moment and i was wondering why if it is put in my eyes then why do i end up tasting it after about 10 mins??? im confused...??

This is because your eyes, ears, mouth and nose are actually connected in some way. When the eye drops got to your eyes, i guess that some slips down some kind of tube and then the liquid gets to your mouth. That's how you or anybody else will taste the bitterness of their eye drops all the time.

It's because your body absorbs everything. It's the same concept as putting garlic in between your toes and being able to taste it. Trust me, there is nothing wrong with you. It's just because the "skin"/membranes in your eyes are very thin and super absorbent.

Your eyes, ears, nose and mouth end up like little tubes in your head that have a common spot somewhere above your throat! Example: if you inhale water, it will go straight in your throat!

check to see if the drainage of your eyes ends up in your mouth ... you should call the plumber I mean doctor now !

I think the tear ducts are connected through your sinus's.
