Many people are quite concerned about the waste that is being produced by not recycling.Why is it so hard for some people to start recycling?! It is quite fun when you get into it, why not help and save our planet?It's for your own benefit!

I've been recycling now for many years (I hate to admit it but about 30 years).
I guess the reason some people don't is because they're too lazy, others don't see any advantage to recycling and is some places it's not all that easy. Where I am it's a real pain as there's no recycling collection so we have to take it to a household waste site which we have to register in advance to use, produce 2 forms of ID, proof of address, proof of ownership of the vehicle we're in etc etc.

I wish I did. I find that I don't do it because it takes up to much time. I did live in Washington state at one time and they have recycling trucks that come and pick it up from your house. I think that if every state had this more people might recycle. As it is right now I don't even know where my recycling center is. I kind of feel ashamed.

That is a good question! I do recycle tin cans, glass, all kinds of food and garden waste and paper. What I'm finding hard, is no one will take plastic, and no where to take it at present, so it now ends up being chucked. Also I payed money for garden waste bags but have just found out I need to pay more for them to take it, that's just ridiculous might as well have a E-unfriendly bonfire!

I recycle quite a bit, but papers I don't. They are kept to start fires in the winter time in my wood stove. My office recycles everything, so it's a good environment to be in.

Yes of course i do. I will Buy products in bulk or larger containers rather than multiple small containers,. Use a sponge rather than disposable towels, Buy concentrates, Buy fresh fruits and vegetables without packaging, Avoid products with excessive packaging, Repair, rather than replace, broken items and Donate unwanted materials to charity.

I usually don't,it is kind of annoying to have to separate your trash into 3 different containers.I believe if non biodegradable waste is building up or is harmful to the environment then the government should have better laws to make companies use different packaging methods

No :( I proposed the idea of recycling to my family, and we tried it for a while, but it's sort of a hassle. :(
What we are still able to do right now are collect the plastic bottles, and the old newspapers. That's about it..

I do recycle. I felt that it is important to do your part to protect the enviroment.

you gotta take it to the center and i really dont have time. is someone else does at their house i do but thats about it.
