Maybe this person could also have the other four fifths of the salad at the rate of one fifth per week.
They could try to consume one gallon of water a day at the rate of one twelfth per 2hours.
Try to sleep 8 hrs a day at the rate of one sixtieth every 20 mins
Try to sing the national anthem at two fifths of the complete song every 40mins.
Try to hop between London to Scotland at the rate of one hop every 15 mins.
...do you see where this is going?

It doesn't just depend on age and fitness level.
You're putting yourself at a huge risk for a heart attack every day you restrict. Lack of proper nourishment (electrolytes, potassium, calcium) causes an irregular heartbeat.
"In every true woman's heart there is a spark of heavenly fire which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity."
~Eleanor Roosevelt

I'm not too sure but without the natural resources in our body, I don't think it could mange much activities, plus our system would be very inactive.
But as said it depends on the person and their body.
