There is a very good chance you have nits. They spread like wildfire. Even if your unsure have someone go through your hair strand by strand.

Nits don't jump from head to head, they are attached to the hairs they are on. It's the lice that travel. If you had head to head contact with somebody who has nits, then that person has lice, and odds are very good that some of those lice travelled to your head.

Go to the drugstore, buy some lice shampoo, some nit combing gel, and some lice furniture spray and follow the directions on the packages. Better safe than sorry.

Yes. Go to a pharmacy and get a shampoo, combing solution and a nit comb. Immediately. Also treat anyone else you live with or sleep with.

More than likely so. Might as well treat yourself while youre at it. It spreads fast and it's incredibly bad.

Its unlikely, but possible. (Although your more likely to get it from a person's clothing....like if your coats are hung up close together.) I think you should go ahead and treat yourself anyway, but don't freak out........
