I celebrate Xmas and I'm an atheist, I but a tree and presents for friends and children to have a good time and a party to celebrate life.
Why do Christians celebrate Christmas on the 25th December when it has been found out from old scriptures that Jesus wasnt born on the 25th December but on the 29th or 30th of September. Arent Christians insulting the Son of God by not celebrating his true birthday and why havent they corrected this they have had 2000 years to do it.

It has not been found that Jesus was born in September, or at any other time. Christians do not celebrate Jesus' birthday because they do not consider Jesus to have been just a man, with a mere birthday, because they consider him to have been the representation of eternal deity. Moreover, celebrating such a birthday when they are 'talking' to Jesus every day seems totally bizarre. 'Christmas' is for pagans only.

In fact, no-one celebrates Christmas, because it does not exist. Many people imagine an event called 'Christmas' and go into all sorts of annual antics because they are very frightened of real Christianity, which demands complete allegiance in all aspects of their lives, every day, all day. These cowards encourage many people to do likewise, so that they feel better, and they mock real Christians when they point out the truth.

The reason why Christmas came to be celebrated on December 25 remains uncertain, but most probably the reason is that early Christians wished the date to coincide with the pagan Roman festival marking the “birthday of the unconquered sun” (natalis solis invicti); this festival celebrated the winter solstice, when the days again begin to
lengthen and the sun begins to climb higher in the sky. The
traditional customs connected with Christmas have accordingly developed from several sources as a result of the coincidence of the celebration of the birth of Christ with the pagan agricultural and solar observances at midwinter.

If God had wanted Christians to celebrate Jesus' birth, then the Bible would have provided the exact date. Does it? After mentioning that Jesus was born at a time when shepherds were out-of-doors at night watching their flocks, 19th-century Bible scholar Albert Barnes concluded: "It is clear from this that our Saviour was born before the 25th of December . . . At that time it is cold, and especially in the high and mountainous regions about Bethlehem. God has concealed the time of [Jesus'] birth. . . . Nor was it of consequence to know the time; if it had been, God would have preserved the record of it."

It is to fit in with the Pagan Sabbatt. Paganism used to be the major religion and the romans decided to make things easier on everyone by making xmas on 25 december to fit in with the Yule sabbat or the winter solstice that was celebrated on 21 / 22 december.
Did you also realise that the divinity of Jesus was decided by a vote several hundred years after his death?

The Bible does not tell us to recognise the birth of Christ. It tells Chrisitains to acknowledge the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But Christians can use Christmas to remember Jesus just like we do everyday of the year. If you read the Bible you would realise that the most important holiday for a Christian is Easter. Christmas Day has been developed by society to forward the agendas of society. The christmas tree is not in the Bible.

Only the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse you of your sins. When you give your life to Jesus, God will tell you all the deceptions in society and simple things in society will no longer deceive you. You need Jesus because you have been deceived by the world and your sins will take you to a place that you do not want to go

Jesus loves you. Call on Jesus to save you and He will.

The Church hijacked this holiday from the Pagans to make it easier for them to convert them when they took over the holy places of the Pagans and turned them into Christian churches. It was easier in their mind to convert the Pagans to worshiping the birth of the son of their God from the pagan celebration of the rebirth of the Sun God.

Now that Christians have been celebrating it for countless years it is impossible for them to change the date now. Once a lie has started it is impossible to stop it.

We could celebrate Jesus's birthday on September 25th, but then someone would still ask why on September 25th. It's just a day we set aside once a year to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When christianity was taking over as the mainstream religion it placed its holidays at the same time as some of the pagan holidays ie winter solstice in december, spring equinox around easter etc...to ease the transition.
