Yes. I have no problem with jewish people, and I would have no problems with isreal if they acted like a civilised country. However, since it's formation, isreal has acted just like pre-war germany in it's attitudes towards the palestinians. People also seem to forget that isreal came about through terrorism.

It's sad that when people openly condemn isreal, they are also branded as anti-semites.

Yes one can, the two often go hand in hand, due to the fact that most of the most vehement anti-Zionists are also anti-semites.

but they can be separate as long as the person discerns between the Israeli government and its policies with that of its citizens and Jews world wide.

the thing that most Anti-Zionists dont realize is that one can be a Zionist and still actively want and desire peace and justice for the Palestinian people just as one can be a proud American and not support a particular administration.

can you be anti-iranian without hating muslims? can you be anti-american without hating christians? can you dislike a political entity without disliking the religion the people in that political entity believe in?

the answer is an obvious yes. why on earth would someone even ask questions like this. anti-israel has to do with what one thinks about the politics of the nation. anti-semitism has to do with hating a certain religion. israel is a nation. judaism is a religion. they are not identical. hence one can dislike the one and like the other.

I am agnostic. I don't really like religion in general but i have nothing particularly against judaism and certainly nothing against jewish people. But, i do not like the policies of the state of israel.

is this somehow a logical contradiction? aren't these two things wholly seperate logically? I fail to see how there can even be the slightest doubt whatever such that we even have to question for a second that one can have different attitudes towards israel than towards judaism. I don't see this as a legitimate issue. the question is a non-starter as it has a logically obvious answer. one can obviously have one attitude towards a nations politics without having an identical attitude towards a seperate property that the people in that nation have.

yes. some Jews are anti Israeli, and they can not be Anti-Semite!
But the Jews that are against Israeli are so because the modern Israeli is not Godly...

Of course you can but they would call you anti-Semitic anyway just to discredit you. It's the same as anyone on here who doesn't agree with GW being called anti-American. It's just ridiculous.

Nope. That is the whole trick. Anytime you want to have a discussion - you are Anti-Semite - Good way to avoid the discussion

i keep the religion and politica seperate !! I respect the jews and their religion but i do not like the Israeli governament ! but ofcourse this is not acceptable for jews fellows !and this is something impossoble for us to respect Israel along with the jews ! 'jew' is a community while Israel is a state......I respect the community but not the state ! as simple as that !
