Wonder if anyone can help me im looking for an idea of cost for a dealer service on my Renault Clio 1.2 Y reg petrol model current mileage 59000 miles. Dont want to book it in the find out its going to be an arm and a leg so and estimated cost would be great.

Two arms & two legs!!! - Our Y reg Picasso cost us £400, but it would have been £600 had the cam-belt not already been done on the last service.

A mate of mine not long had his car serviced at renault and it cost hime £285 and that wasn't even with the cam belt done, he was well gutted when i told him i could of done it including the cam belt for around £120 being as the cambelt is the biggest part of the job, hope this helps, Gary

Phone your local dealer and ask them - you don't have to book it in to find out the price.
Try a reputable local garage too - any decent mechanic will be able to do the job. You don't have to use a Renault dealer.

Find a good local independant garage ( ask friends for good places ) for a full service should cost no more than £130

i used to have one of those (not joking) it had about 52000miles and my dealer offered me about £600

forget dealer servicing, go to kwik fit, much better, cheaper and quicker.
