honestly, the best thing to do is go to a local tatt shop and ask for their advice. tell them the spot on your body you are wanting it and an idea of what you want (like a symbol or dragon). you wouldn't have surgery without going in for a consult visit first, right? okay they are the professionals and let them help you - that is what you are going to be paying them for. any artist that is serious about his or her profession will be more than happy to help you out. don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great websites out there, but for something like this, i would talk to someone in person.

I was thinking of getting my name done and I found it on this website http://chineseculture.about.com/library/extra/character/bls_characters2.htm they also have a character index of random words and sayings that could also be helpful. Good luck

i used this site when i got my chinese symbol, where it says "spanish to english" click on the drop down box and click "english to chinese"..these are the right symbols and not anything funky. good luck!

You would need to find someone who actually knows both languages and could translate it for you.
