To my mind, our bodies are like cars. A car is built, someone buys and uses it until the car gets old and breaks down. After which the driver - the soul or spirit - is without vehicle for a time until he gets a new car. And the adventure continues. (I have a lot of fun figuring out what type of car every person I know represents. Hehe)

Yes we are Spirits taking an adventure in a material world : )

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body.
It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.
Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business or they just don't know they have died or they didn't know to go to the light, this is what people call a Ghost I call Spirit some call Lost Souls
And no they do not cause any harm
Most of them think they are alive and think we are ghost haunting them

Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.

Love & Blessings

No we are not. We are also our bodies that are here on Earth for a period of time. Too many people are consumed with spirituality without grounding themselves in the physical world as well. You cannot build a temple without first building a foundation. We are connected to our physical world and physical bodies and must deal in the physical in order to better serve our spirituality.

i think of it more as this ''reality '' experience much as buying a ride at disney land some of us having a half day price ,''experience'' others an all day survival course
but each accepting the gift with certain gifts skills and lessons
some are handycapped with set handicaps others seeming ly given a head start
but essentially but as prisoners serving time
some a little some a lot
to whome much is given much expected
to whom little was given , well they were yet given as they needed to full fillment [of thier higher spiritual being.
some need but the wake up call of being born to repent
others take a long life to see the greatness of eternal spirit underpinning even the least life to its full learnings /teachings in all life possabilities
fee sorry when germs are all eradicated?
where the slime [lowest of the low going to incarnate then
note thewild life we extinct all ready lessons the choice and nature of incarnation.

In the material world:
We are not the body.
We are spirit soul in the body.
Body dies but the spirit soul does not die.

In the spiritual world:
No difference between body and soul.
The spirit soul is the body and the body is spirit soul.
Spirit soul is eternal, knowledgeable and blissful.

Spirits? If you think you're a spirit consider that if your brain goes offline so does your consciousness. We know that consciousness and thought depend on a lot of complicated chemical and electrial interactions in our brains and nervous systems. What makes you think you will still be you after the brain stops functioning?

Firstly, I love the Police!!!

Secondly, I believe there is a spirit to everything, and material appears to be around that...so, in my minor opinion, yes!!!

the Lord God took some soil from the ground F7 and formed a man F8 out of it; he breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live. Genesis 2:7
Its His breath that made us alive. I believe its His breath in every child, otherwise how can it live, have life.. So its better to follow His instructions to live our destiny whatever He planned for us to make us.

No, definitley not. You are made in Fleash and Blood in the image of God. The life force that keeps you alive is the breath of God. It's like fuel in your car, remove the fuel and the car is dead.
When you die, you body returns to dust, the breath of God returns to him, you are dead(asleep), not roaming the earth or in heaven.

When Jesus comes back at the second coming, you will be ressurrected and Judged. Those who died in Sin will be finally destroyed, those who died in righteousness and accepted the blood of Jesus will go to heaven.
