What are some reactions people have had with hair bleach?

I had a reaction for the first time after having had it done many times before

I don't know what they have done or added to hair color but about ten people I know who have had there hair bleached had reactions and burnt scalp and rosea on the face and puffy eyes. They even stopped selling magic silver white and rose for reasons unknown.

The only reaction that I have had is some minor skin irritation. Sometimes it can be tender spots or dry skin. Keep your scalp well conditioned and irritation should go away soon. I suggest using Head & Shoulders for a couple of weeks, always works for me.

I am a hairdresser, and used to work with a girl who became allergic to bleach, she would get hot, get red and blotchy and would swell all over.What i would recommend is that firstly that you go to a professional, and have them test your skin with the product. You may not be allergic to all bleaches it may just have been that particular brand but ALWAYS have a test patch done before you have your hair coloured,

after i got my hair bleached for the third time my hair became very brittle and started breaking off and no matter what i used to try and stop it, it just got worse and didnt stop getting worse for another 5 months but i am also a natural strawberry blonde almost red head

when you are dying your hair with bleach you really got to make sure that you time it right...if you leave it in tooo long you will look white but if you dont leave it in long enought you get bltochy areas....so i guess the ideal time for a good blonde would be maybe 15 minutes or so...you have to make sure that the bleach is taking...
