If taken correctly, pregnancy tests are very accurate. Is there a possibility you miscalculated when you were supposed to start your period? Also, if you have drastically changed your diet or are experiencing a lot of stress your period can be thrown off. I'd recommend trying another brand of test. I used EPT and it showed positive when I was a week late and it was very much so accurate! If the tests still say negative and you still haven't started, I'd see a doctor.

Yes pregnancy test are reliable. It just matters when you take them. If you took both test after missing you period and got negative results they should be right on. If your still concerned take another test if its negative go see the Dr. Either way it's not normal to be that late.

pregnancy tests are quite reliable, more so if taken first thing in the morning. If you still feel unsure you can have a simple blood test done at your GPs. Remember there are many reasons your period is late, stress, weightloss and the anxiety of whether you are pregnant or not can even trigger it to stop. Best to visit a gp.

This is what happened to me, and I just knew that I was prenant so I had to go to the doctor. Be safe and go to your doctor, they can tell you 100% if you are or aren't pregnant. The sooner you go the sooner you can start taking prenatial vitamins so you and your baby are health. Best of luck!
