Just say if a person is standing talking to another person and then the other person moves to their side.so they're side by side and close aswell,is he trying to tell me something. I felt comfortable with how close he was to me. We were talking and laughing etc. I like him but i'm not sure if this is some kind of sign.

Too hard to say. Honestly, do you ever think consciously why you are speaking close up or further away from someone? You could psychoanalyze the situation and determine on some subconscious level something is happening, but who want to do that, right. I do believe much is to be said for body language. However, I've never been very good at interpreting it. Ever watch a movie in it's entirety on mute. Very fascinating. You can tell how well acted the movie is when muting it. So body language is big. But personally, I have no clue on interpreting it.

He could be telling you things he does not want the other person to hear. Or he could be checking if you have dandruff or body odor.
Don't take things for granted.
