Why is it only men that treat women wrong...can't it happen the other way round?

Do you mean "wrong"? That's because most men are scum and women let them get away with being like that. Good guys can't get a woman.

Not all men treat women wrongly. When looking for a boyfriend you should have certain guidelines. If the man does not meet them, he can pound sand. It isn't easy, but it needs to be done. The right type is out there. They may not be easy to find though...and as far as mean men go?
Some men are just asshole abusive immature horndogs..ok more like 70% of the Northern American men are anyhow. Please be more choosy next time, it's better to be solo and get your life on track then deal with abusive asshats.

Because the women allow it to happen---the abusive types look for easy women they know they can abuse--and they get away with it. Smart, strong, stand up women don't allow this--not all men are abusive either---mud and water always seek their own level---look for mud and you'll find mud right there with them---always aim high and go for the best---you'll always find the best. It is a matter of choices. And it is a matter of self esteem and confidence when it comes to picking excellent partners. Good luck

After that, it's like you gave them a free pass to do it again.
In their imperfection, they'll simply do it because they can.
It is up to you to set boundaries. I mean it!!! If you don't, you'll be hurting for a very long time.
