Would this long distant relationship work?

We're 16 years old and we've been dating each other for 6 months.. He went to a boarding school this month. It's 7 hours away from here. We could text messages or have calls only during the weekends and school holidays. We email one another once or twice in a week. I won't be seeing him often. Maybe only once or twice every three months. Will it work? What do you think?

It will work if you both want it to work. The key is communication. Talk as often as is possible, see each other when you can.
I was 13 when I met my current husband, he was 16. We were in Ohio at the time. We were going out just a few days when he had to move to Pennsylvania for his dad's job.

We talked on the phone daily. He visited a few times in the 1 1/2 years that he was gone. When he finally moved back, we picked up where we left off and never looked back. I am now 30 and we have been together 17 years, married for 11.

I am 27 and my bf is 39. We had a long term relationship for 10 years and more. I was about 17. So it can work if both are honest and faithful without thinking of sex and physical releases. I was always getting moody but I managed it and spent time with hobbies studies and activities.

It can work provided you both are seious and genuine and want to come up in life and be successful people.

well everything will work out if you two love each other a lot. don't worry about the future. if you two work together and trust one another...it will last for a super long time. everything happens for a reason and if something happens, then you two weren't meant to be. my teacher had a long distance relationship for a long time...like years and they are married.
