Manny is totally undefeated right now against mexican born boxers like Marquez and Barrera. This is a huge statement becasue thebest fighters in his weight class are all Mexican born or descended of Mexican born parents ETC. The dude just takes them out. I know that he got lucky by knocking down Marquez 3 times in the first round of that fight because he did get his butt kicked for the rest of it and barely survived with a draw, but for now he is the mexican assasin. Until one of these boys takes him out that is. They aren't dogging him when they say that though. I know that he doesn't like the name personally or doesn't refer to himself that way. Dude can fight though. Dont worry marquez can take him out next time they fight

It just happens that most mexicans fight at the lower weight classes as do many asians. Its like calling Ricardo "Finito" Lopez the "Asian Assasin" asians and mexicans have a monopoly in the lower weight classes. In their first fight Erik Morales decided to fight him southpaw just to please the fans and to prove his Mexican Macho ego. In the other two fights, even when Pacquiao had Morales hurt and overmatched, he didnt turn conventional. Morales is a true warrior, he turned southpaw with the most dangerous lower weight figher in the world. I'd like to see Manny do that if he rematches with J.M.Marquez.

Only because the Pacman's recent greatest fights were all against great Mexian fighters (and future hall of famers at that too). Nothing racial or cultural definitely. It can also be a testament that the 130lbs weight class is dominated by a lot of great mexian fighters. It just so happened that it may well be the start of the Pacman era.

Manny was called the mexican assasin because he beat the best mexican in the lower division. Mexicans rules the lower division and having someone else rule it is big boxing accomplishment
Manny has yet to fight any american or british fighters coz there are no one worth fighting.

He won almost all of the Mexican boxers he fight with.. But hey does it getting bored that manny plays only a mexican.. Can he fight an American, British or a Morrocan..

its not an insult im part mexican and the reason they call him that name is because every mexican that manny has fought he beats their *** just look at what he did to barera/marquez etc. and if you watched boxing on espn/hbo/showtime you would understand

it was becos he kild a mexican when he was a kid in 1988. he got mad because he did not get what he want. i think that is why. he was fined by the boxing comission for kiling that boy. now he is a boxer now. and is very good again.
