Sounds either stressed or very ill- see a vet ASAP- it could be poisoning.

I agree with the people who said it might be stress, a few months back I had to go take care of my grandmother for 3 days the kids were in school, and spent nights somewhere else, and my husband worked third shift, even though we were here off and on to make sure the dog was taken care of, I came home the forth day to find diareah in evey room up stairs down the hall and down the stairs, I called the vet (my dog is a 10 year old german shepard) I called the vet and there first queston was has anything in the household changed? There advice was to wait a day or two and keep an eye on her. They were right once everyone was home she was fine. Since you just got your pup, call your vet and see what they recomend

This sounds indicative of Parvovirus...doesn't matter that your pup has not been around other dogs..unless bleach is used to clean where an infected dog has been, the virus lives on the area for 7 years...and can be contracted to your pup...Parvovirus is an emergency..the dog will not die from the virus itself, however WILL die from the dehydration that is caused from the virus...do this..when you pull up the skin on the back of the pup's neck( like as if the mother were carrying him/her) does the skin slowly roll back into place OR does it "snap" back quickly? if the first is your answer QUICKLY call the emergency service of your vet...If you do not treat Parvo your dog will most likely die....the pup needs to be on I.V. fluids and tamaflu..and given an anti emetic Please go to the Vet...if you are not responsible enough to have a dog..please do not let the dog suffer..they are like children..they are your responsibility to take care of...if you cannot afford the vaccinations..you do not need a dog...sorry, but it is the truth..I'm pretty sure you aren't trying to be cruel as you are concerned enough to ask a question, however please do the responsible thing!..

Sounds like Parvo to me, but needs to go to vet ASAP, she is in great danger of dying from dehydration. Vomiting and or diarrhea alone are not a big problem and common with stress of moving, but both together are extremely serious if prolonged and more indicitive of a virus, don't take any chances, this dog needs IV fluids and nothing to eat or drink until problem passes. If it's Parvo, go to www.parvoguard.com check this out, it may save your pups life, and definitely cheaper than the fees the vet will charge you to try to save a parvo dog. Good luck home he feels better soon.

hi, the 5 hour trip plus the new surroundings, things like air pressure can all have an affect on the pup, if the pup had an injection the same day ore day before, that also will make them a bit sick for a day or 2. Also give the pup the same food that he/she was given by the breeders as the change in food will also result in a stomach problem. Good Luck

I'm no vet, but I recently had this happen to my mom's dog. He was diagnosed with pancreatitis. They gave him an injection o fluids under his skin to help with dehydration and an anti-inflammatory for his inflamed pancreas. It could also be a parasite or tapeworm. Be sure to take away her food and water or she will keep throwing up. If you can give her Pepto-Bimol, that will help with the diarrea. I hope that your dog is okay and that she makes a full recovery.
