What do i say when i ask a guy out??

Ok, i have been really good friends with this guy, and i'm kinda getting a 'good-vibe' from him, and i really want to ask him out!! But i have no clue of what to say! Everyone says just ask him, but what do i say?? I dont want to just ask "Do you want to go out with me?", coz ive done that with other guys and just made a tit of my self! Does any one have any tips of what i can say? I really like this guy, and care about him a lot, but i dont want to look like a knob. Just saying 'i like you, do you want to go out with me?" isnt really me!!

first off, where i come from, asking out doesnt mean go on a date, it means "do you want to be my girl/boyfriend".

The rule in life is: the guy ask.The girl answer.However,if you want to make a different rule is OK.You can ask to the guy to go out simple like this: "johnny,I have to go to the mall to see some snickers, are you coming ?.After that,play the game.Show him some attraction.Also you can ask him something like this: are you interested in me?.Try to talk and keep the conversation going.Is the best way.Good luck.
