hello i m bachelor student of comp eng.
i wish to b a good game creator and graphics designer as well as a programmer in a sense i wish to b a good software engineer but in pakistan is not offered.
i kno in comp. eng we just mostly learn the things related to hardware but i wish to go on software line.
what shud i do i cant change courses now any help u guys can do to plan my future to achieve my goal. bcuz leaving this course at this point and looking for others will just b pointless i hav to carry on now with this.also we have a subject that is into to programming in which we learn things bout "TUBRO C" .
is it a good language to start learning programming .

C++ definitely, but the up and comer is Java, because of it's ease to create web based games, which will be the future of computing.

yup i wud agree with joushua....i think u shud also start learning java along with C....its easier to program there and also alot of extra stuff u had to do in C has been taken off in java
also if ur fluent with C..then java shud be pretty simple as there are very few differences in the code as such
so as joshua says ..also delve a bit into java as thats what programmers prefer using nowdays

The most common language used right now is C++, so that is a good one to study. Actually, the most used language on the planet right now is HTML. You are using it now. It underlies the whole of the internet (well, 99 %). And its companions, server side things line PHP and SQL.
