Though your intentions are good, if you force the wings to open, the butterfly will not fly. We do this sometimes in life when we try to do something for someone else instead of letting them do it themselves. When we do that, we sometimes prevent that person from flying on their own.

To be able to force a butterfly's wings open would require physical contact thus knocking off the dust on the wings. When the dust is disrupted, it causes the butterfly to not be able to fly.
Not to mention that by "forcing" a butterfly's wings open you'll more than likely break the wings. They're as thin as paper so I don't really see using "force" and having a good outcome.

not necesarily; but you might break it's wings....
I'm assuming you are making a metaphor (parable) to forcing faith on people that don't ask for it.
It's agood analogy and I agree. I'm Christian myself; but, if you don't want to be you don't have to believe...you should because it's the truth; but, it's your conscience and not everybody is a chosen vessel. I give you the truth and my job is done..other than obeying the commandments...like not killing you for not believing or stealing from you cheating you at business..etc that's what Jesus meant by bless your enemies...you don't have to have the warm cuddly fuzzies for them...but obeying the commandments with your enemies is a blessing for them in itself. Our as we are instructed...
Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Some think that spreading the gospel is forcing people to believe nothing could be further from the truth...spreading the gospel is like parable of the sower and the seeds...it's broadcasting/publishing/preaching the words of righteousness and letting the seeds fall where they may.
and every once in a while those seeds do fall on good ground and take root...but not all will in fact many or most will not.
many people think that Christians are supposed to harvest for Christ...no. we are to be sowers, we can water and nurture what is sowed but it is God that provides the increase and it is HE that reaps in the harvest.

It would likely fly before you got to touch it. If it did not it would likely be dieing or to cold to move.

maybe
if you touch it with your hand you'll kill it though. The coloration on its wings when interacting with a hand kills a butterfly, though not instantly

Just blow on it. Don’t hurt it. It’s fragile. I’m I still talking about a butterfly?
