I am trying hard to work out the creases in the relationship with my girlfriend but everytime I try and talk to her she tells me to shut up. The other day she went out, got drunk and completely messed up the living room with empty cans, half eaten food and cigarette butts. The next day I cleaned and when she woke up I told her that I wasn't happy about doing it. Then we had a huge argument as always. How can I make this work?

Sounds like she has no respect for you, or herself for that matter. I think a better question you should ask yourself is *should* you try to improve the relationship. You can fix a relationship, but you can't fix a person. There's a world of difference. Think about it.
I don't know you, or her, but it sounds like you could do better. You've got to have the courage of your convictions. Don't settle for less because you think nobody else will love you. I've been down that road, and it doesn't lead anywhere that's worth being.

Tell yourself you love this girl as much as you want, do you not love yourself enough to not let someone disrespect you like that?
I mean are you serious..why would you want to be with someone who won't even listen to you and tells you to shut up. You make think your in love because youve been together for god knows how long...but hello wake up ...if you care about someone..you are going to do whatever it takes to ensure their happiness, all relationships have their ups and downs.
The girl is your girlfriend..not your wife..you deserve better and I hope for you, you have the balls to go find that person.

it sounds like your girlfreind is an alchohalic do you drink? if so sink to her level go out party with your freinds come back make a mess and what ever............ she is just puting on and act for you makeing you her little slave man yell at her when she talks tell her to shut up you dont care it may not end up good but try it and see how it works

Have a one-on-one chat with her. She may be stressed at work or she may have financial woes. Unless you allow her to open up she may keep all these within herself. Relationships is about communications.
