as my parents taught me, be nice to everyone.then i left my home, and start working.i saw ppl r lying on small things and
cheating each other. even ppl take advantage of my BE NICE
attitude.
i m confused, what the hell my parents taught me.this is diffrent world.
how should i behave? be nice or be bad.

be nice but take it with a grain of salt ppl are generally just **** heads in the work force its how they get ahead. dont take any crap. And if this doesnt help chat with your rents they'll tell you the same stuff

This is real life girl, it is nothing like even the best book about life.
Whatever things you read and studied and prepared reports/projects about, it is a total situation when you are there. You know you shouldn't kiss *** at work and should work your way up by your work and personality, yet, your direct boss likes his *** to be kissed and everybody does it, so why not you too?
And this is like just a small, kind of minor, in the corner situation.
What can I say......WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!
Being nice at work sometimes does not work and you have to be rigid when it comes to your job as you will face many people where all they want is someone to do their job, but they get all the credit for it.
As long as nice doesn't contradict your principles, be nice.

Honey, it is a cruel and mean world out there. You need to be nice and show others that that is the way we should treat each other. And watch out for those who want to take advantage of you.

its ur life u have to live this life so make ur life good by being nice but if some one is taking to much advantage of u than for at least for once show them that u could be bad also.

They taught you to be 'nice'. They did not teach you to act stupid.. If people are liars, cheaters and taking advantage of you 'avoid' them...You mix only with people of good values.
Continue being nice. However be shrewed and wach out for people who will take advantage of your niceness.

You should stay true to yourself. Parents teach us what we need to make it through life but the one thing they cannot teach us its self control, that you must teach yourself. You must now get to know yourself, what your strengths and weakneses are and what your limitations are. Sure there are bad people out there but when you remain tru to yourself and hold onto teh integrity your parents instilled within you, life is easier.
