as if you don't know what a birthday cake is! it can be creamy and it can be delicious, depending on the person and his individual preferences--some people don't like cakes...
cakes can have icing or not, can have fruit or not, can be commercial baked or home baked, can be moist or dry, etc.

A birthday cake is creamy and sweet... I like chocolate cake..
But most of all I like the chocolate icing.. creamy chocolate!
