Is it safe to have sex with a man who has a genital ring?

My boyfriend and I knew eachother for one year before we started dating four weeks ago. We haven't had sex yet and because I'm religous I don't plan on having sex with him anytime soon. But he mentioned to me that he has a genital ring. It grosses me out. I can't imagine having sex with a guy who has a peice of metal on this thang. What if it falls off durring intercourse and gets trapped inside my vagina? He's had it put on twice and both times it's fell off while he went pee. It doesn't seem to be very stable. He says the ring will add stimulation and increase pleasure but I think the paranoida will take away the pleasure. It all seems very unnatural. Does anybody know if this is a dangerous situation. I don't want it to hurt me. I definately don't want it trapped inside me. Also, does anybody know what my BF's tatoo and peircing artist might be doing wrong to have it fall off all the time?

no it's fine i dont know why it's falling off but i know alot of active people that have that done....i wouldn't want my boyfriend to have one but what ever it's fine...

if you don't like it have him take it off before sex
