i met this girl a year ago, and she was the most intelligent beatiful girl i had ever seen i reacently asked her to a school dance and she told me she doesn't like me like that. i want to know if she will ever like me the way i like her or if i should just give up.

For some girls, it takes time for them to be comforatble with a guy.
You persist, put 'love' into action by caring for her, doing things for her, appreciate her looks, speak softly and confidentally to her, have lots of humor and enjoy her company. She will ALL be yours for the next School Dance.

Tip #1 don't you dare even think about doing all the things she does and copying. You'll scare her away. Be yourself and keep haveing fun with her. I know regertion sucks but ask her again and add on as a FRIEND. After a while she might begin to like you and if not just tell her exactly how you feel (never say "I THINK i like you" just makes you look despreate) god luck mate and go for it.

She may never like you like that. Be her friend and maybe then she will see all of the good qualities you have and like you back. If not then it probably wasn't meant to be.

if you get to know her better maybe you will charm her, if not you will charm her friends either way you will have a girlfriend, just hold contacts and everything will go alright

more then likely you should keep trying. i had a girl that really liked my since last years and all of the sudden i liked her and we are together. you should keep working on it.
