i have come to an island and i there is a marines corp base near by I will be here for a few months.I have met a genlteman and we really hit it big time...I want take it slow and so does he.But im scared been to attached and been heart broken when i go home.

Been in love is a wonderfully thing!!
If u know that ur relationship has an end then try bought of u to spend the rest of the days, doing everything that u can do to life this relationship.
I was in Switzerland working there, and i full in love with a Brazilian guy.
We where working 2gether, in the same hotel, we stayed in the same room, and we were all the time 2gether.
When the time came to separate, we bought where really bad and crying all the time, but we know that we did the best we could, to live this relationship, we r very good friends now, and we r sending emails, and cards.
It was one of the best, foul relationships that i ever had.
I was crying, and i was heart, and i lived this relationship the best i could, and i have many many wonderful memories.
Try 2 do the same... Otherwise when the time comes to separate u will understand that u bought of u left the days to go away, and u didn't do a lot... u just waist ur days, thinking that u will be heart.
U will anyway, what is better, enjoy as much as u can this relationship and have wonderful memories 4 the rest of ur life, or waist ur days thinking what if u foul in love?
I think the first is the best.
Spend everyday, like is ur last one.!!!!!!!!

In response to people's attitude on military men, please don't stereotype. Yes, a lot of them are a bit wild but there are a few good ones out there too!

If you love him then why are you afraid so what if you are going home in a few months, if you dont live life each moment by moment then you might as well go kill yourself because you are going to die later on. Go for it and you wont regret.

sounds like you know what will happen. you know exactly what you should do. stop giving yourself false hopes, and coming on yahoo answers to justify them.
