Why do guys take a long time to come out of a relationship whereas females don't ?

I am specifically refering to those relations where the guy has been in deep love with his female partner.

Women think for a long time before breaking-up, without letting the guys know. Whereas it comes as a blow to guys. Women prepare themselves before break-up, so the next parts are easy for them. While the guys start going through the next parts after the break-up.

Its like this, actually it is true for both men and women. But the thing is its the girls who generally initiate the break up. NO matter how much fault the girl does, guys dont initiate a break-up generally. But, in the case with women, if they find out some freedom or some good opportunity, or if her guy did some unacceptable thing, its a fair enough reason for them to break up. But its not true for all the women.

So the person who initiate the break-up think about it for a long period about the after break up consiquences. Some times they think for months. But within this period it is easy to understand through their actions. But, for the other party(who is at the receiving end of the break-up decision), its a shock. So they tend to go through lot of hard time.

I beg to differ. I think it goes both ways, believe me i know. There are a lot of women that think that men move on way faster then women. In reality, both sexes need time to come out of any relationship. "Time heals all". Words to live by when moving on.
