My daughter has a cold and I bought pedialyte. Its in the fridge now. Id say yes because it says after opening use within 2 weeks. My daughter likes it cold so what can it hurt?
No water untill baby starts eating solids,does people have kids. My God, Gatorade. My daughter dosent mind the taste I bought her Grape and BubbleGum and she likes it. She also likes prune juice shes a baby.

Just as a tip for saving money.... My pediatrician told me that gatorade has the same makeup of as PediaLyte just with a lil more sugar.... so if you just add water to it you are giving them the same thing and it tastes better. Plus saves you $$$$

Even though it doesn't say so, I have always refrigerated it after opening it.
It certainly couldn't hurt and I wouldn't want to take a chance letting the stuff go bad.

I don't know. It won't hurt it if you do, so I would err on the side of caution. I don't see the point behind Pedialyte though. It tastes so nasty, it's easier to get the child to drink water. You can't prevent dehydration if you can't get them to drink it, right? Some kids like it, though. Mine never did.
