Actually, the Atheist Day is not created by Atheist ..... Surprised? It is created by some denomination of a one god religion based on the phase
'The fool says to themselves, There is no God'
within their book on at paslms 14:1
So since to them Atheist and fools are the same, they declared April Fools day the Atheist day.

I don't think there's a reason why April Fools Day and World Wide Atheists Day both fall on April first... but perhaps we can ask a few theists to make up a good reason - they're very good at inventing rationale out of BS and coincidence. It might be fun to see what kind of new nonsense they can offer to 'spin' this little question. (If their reason is anything as far out as life after death... then whoa... be ready for a heavy-duty belly laugh.)

I don't know but it's pretty interesting considering my birthday is April 1 (no joke) and I am an agnostic-atheist.
