Alright so I am 19 and I'm single. I'm happy being single but I'm not opposed to finding a boyfriend either. I just haven't met anyone lately that I've wanted to date. Recently my co-workers and friends have started trying to set me up on dates. Now I have never been a fan of blind dates because I find them awkard and uncomforatable. I still don't want to hurt the feelings of the people who are trying to "do me a favor". I tell them no but they still ask. What can I do to get them to stop asking me other than finding myself a boyfriend.

Don t fear rejecting people who are trying to fix you up.

Choose what YOU want here and Now.

I m 25 male and single and stand my ground for what I want.

If people meet that are meant to be, then they will, if not so be it.

One just needs to focus on enjoying each moment as it comes and stop worrying for the next.

Choose what you want, and do not fear your decision s effects on others.

For if other s respect you, then they shall respect your decision.

You keep meeting weird guys, looks like you have a lot of turn offs, and that these guys cant get past just getting to know you before you have judged sentenced and executed them. It good to be single too, the right person has to be out there, just let them know what you looking for, so they no longer set you up with these types that weird you out. That was a lot of deduction out of nothing, what fun...

Tell them you appreciate their help but would really like to go it alone for a while. Tell them you've decided to take a break from dating for a while until you get some personal issues resolved. If they continue to hound you, remind them that you are not dating at the present and no thank you. :)

Get involved in some activity so they see that you are fine. Make new friends!

Tell them more firmly no- and how you feel about the situation. If they're your friends, they'll understand.

find someone yourself then, you may say you are happy, however if the people around you think otherwise then give it a try.
