This early, you may not feel the baby kick every day. The baby is so small, that it simply may not be making contact with the uterus when it kicks. As time goes on, you'll feel it kick more and more often, as there is less space for it to move; by the time you're due, you'll just be hoping that your baby doesn't aim for your bladder TOO often ;-)

You should ask your doctor about it, she will tell you that the baby is moving several times an hour, but you may not always feel it, especially when you are moving around. To do a "kick count", drink a glass of water and rest on your left side. Count the movements (of any kind) and write down how long it takes to get to 10 movements. After you start feeling the movements strongly (in about a week or two) you only need to worry if the baby doesn't move 10 times in 2 hours (I think its 2). Sometimes, my babies (throughout three pregnancies) would sleep for a few hours and I wouldn't feel a lot of movement. I hope this helps you for tonight. Best wishes.

It's still early in pregnancy. Don't be to concerned most people don't feel movement until week 22 to 24 and then its not regular. But it's good that you have apt. with the Dr. They will reassure about any concerns you have. You will feel better when you hear the heartbeat. The movements will get more regular over the next few weeks. I'm surprised you have felt anything this soon. When I was pregnant with my fourth i didn't feel anything until week 20 and half.

your baby is probably kicking and your not feeling it, i had that happen to me all the time when i was pg with my baby girl. the doc said she might be kicking in towards my back or on the placenta and you can't fell it as much then. also fetuses that young ave periods of being really active and then being restful. :)
you'll probably have the baby's heartbeat checked, a pee test and the routine appt...but you could be having a sonogram soon to check for the sex of the baby...
just think you are pretty much 1/2 way through now!!!

mine would have days of kicking non stop then days of no kicking at all. but i would suggest at your appointment if you havent felt any kicking and are worried talk to your doctor and let her no your concerns. she's there to help you get through this safely. and doctors are use to mommies whether pregnant or already had the baby asking questions on any thing that they dont know about. they would much rather you and your baby be safe then anything else. also i was told if theres no cramping or you dont have a fever not to worry to much. but i would still talk to your doctor.

best thing to do is ask your doc about it but dont be too alarmed yet. it is a strong possibility that your baby is moving and youre just not feeling it. the doctors usually only get worried if you are farther along. and yes, every visit they listen to the heart beat. as long as that babys heart is beating i'm sure your'e okay.

My son wouldnt move all morning long. He would move alot in the late afternoons and evening. They sleep sometimes and sometimes especially with how early you are you may not always feel it.
