The problem in dealing with compulsive liars is that you can't really know when they are telling the truth. So, if the only info you have about her "cheating ex" is her word, then you can't be sure whether or not to believe it. If you can find out more about it from other sources, then you may possibly learn the truth. Sorry, I know you would like a more definite answer, but there isn't one.
I just read some of the other answers. I interpreted your question as you just want to resolve some stuff to move on. But if you are feeling bad about breaking up with her and second-guessing that decision...if she really is a compulsive liar, then you can't have an honest relationship. No real trust, no real love. It's okay to feel sad for her if she was cheated on, but that doesn't mean you have to put yourself back into an unhealthy relationship. Give your heart to someone who will take good care of it!

Compulsive liars lie and it is very difficult separating fact from fiction with them. They tend to weave a bit of truth into their lies to make them believable. Their words are wholly untrustworthy. Pathological liars often transfer their transgressions to an ex. For example, one pathological person I knew, said he had a brother that always lied.

Does it really matter now? I mean if u broke up with her, let her go completely and don't waste time thinkin about "what ifs". Be glad you found out about her being like that before you ended up commited to her and ruining your whole life. Believe in yourself to make better decisions and choices on who u date. Good Luck.

In my opinion if she is a compulsive liar you can not trust ANYTHING that comes out of her mouth! Find a new chicky-babe that will RESPECT you :-)

if you're certain that she's a complusive liar and broke up with her because of that, you shldnt be having second thoughts now....

i thot you just said you broke up.???? does it then matter whether she lied or not?i know you aint over her........the best thing to do right now is push her to the back of your head and move on dude.
