The bird-flu disease. My guess is that ducks live on farms.

oh that answer is crazy--duck eggs would put chicken eggs off market-duck eggs are better for baking and to eat say "over easy" duck eggs are really big and 2 of them filled me right up last night--grocery stores would sell them but not like chicken eggs--duck eggs can be purchased online for eating but the price is too high!

If you can shop at an Asian Food Market, you'll see lots of duck eggs.

Apparently you haven't been to an Asian market yet. they sell everything from pickle duck eggs to quail eggs.

it may be scarce in your place, but try china town and asian groceries. they are already boiled and cooked and ready to savor
