The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion -- the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are Three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these Three Persons being truly distinct one from another. Thus, in the words of the Athanasian Creed: "the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God." In this Trinity of Persons the Son is begotten of the Father by an eternal generation, and the Holy Spirit proceeds by an eternal procession from the Father and the Son. Yet, notwithstanding this difference as to origin, the Persons are co-eternal and co-equal: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent. This, the Church teaches, is the revelation regarding God's nature which Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came upon earth to deliver to the world: and which she proposes to man as the foundation of her whole dogmatic system

"So there is One Father, not Three Fathers; one Son, not Three Sons; One Holy Ghost, not Three Holy Ghosts. And in this Trinity none is afore or after Other, None is greater or less than Another, but the whole Three Persons are Co-eternal together, and Co-equal."--Athanasian Creed

This is a confusing doctrine that has no basis in Scripture. There is no Bible verse or verses that has such a concept of God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God is composed of 3 co-equal and co-eternal "persons."

The 'Trinity' was a poetic attempt to describe the nature of God. It's not anything that I put any trust in that word. It's just an attempt.

but after reading the Bible through, I can see that the nature of God really is, The Father, the Son ( or WORD), and the Holy Spirit-- axiomatically. It defies my ability to envelop, but yet it is there.

There have been men with heavy credentials arguing and debating this very concept for centuries upon centuries. So who am I to say anything that would turn on the light. So here is my attempt, okay? ( I apologize in advance for my incapability).

You have skin, right? The skin is a part of you, yet it is not all you, but a part of you.

You have a brain. Your brain is not your skin, but it doesn't mean that your brain or your skin is not you, they are both you, yet that's not all of you, but they need to both be there.

And you have feelings. Your feelings might have something to do with your brain and your skin, but they are not your brain and not your skin.

All those things make you up, not all of you, but they are parts of you.

I hope that helped you with what you are trying to figure out. If not, just remember that I apologized before you read it! lol

God the Father is one, Jesus whom is Gods Son and (Had the fullness of God in Him), and the Holy Spirit which is Gods spirit.
Three does not equal One. The Bible repeatedly says that God is one, never that God is three.
Deut 6:4 Hear O Israel, the LORD your God, the LORD is one.
It's really good to search this out & do a study on it. Also ask the Lord to reveal His truth to you. He will do so. When you seek, you will find.

God is 3. The son is Jesus, God in the flesh. God the father is the head. The Holy Ghost convicts our souls and dwells in us after we are saved.

trinity is not in the bible...there are only 2persons...Jehovah God the Almighty and his mighty son Jesus Christ whose heavenly name is Michael the arch angel..he is above everything on earth and in heaven except our father Jehovah.
The holy spirit is an active force God gives to Jesus.
