I am Orthodontist and can probably help you with this question. Invisalign is a great alternative to braces. However, it will never replace traditional braces. If you just want the teeth to straight it will work but I have better control with braces and the results are lot more optimal. I don't know how much it costs in Australia but in my Northern California practice, I charge $5230 for full treatment. There is no price difference between traditional brace or Invisalign. YES, YOU NEED TO HAVE ALL PERMANENT TEETH ERUPTED TO DO INVISALIGN (Invisalign will not approve the case if your second molars are not completely erupted) Whatever you decide, seek treatment from an Orthodontist and not a general dentist certified in Invisalign. Hope That helps. Thank you
