ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING!!!Dont take any chances of hinting, you'll scare him,if he's not ready.Patience is a virtue.Be consistent in respecting and loving your boyfriend.Everthing will fall in place if you do that.

From what you have said so far it sounds like you better slow down. See this stuff isn't about the girl dropping hints. When two people have been dating long enough that the two of them have fallen in love, then at some point certain things will be brought up for discussion such as "do you want kids" or What kind of house would you like to live in some day. See if two people are in love, then the conversations naturally go to the subject of something permanent someday. And if after those many discussions the two are in agreement about many many different subjects then he will propose. This is a natural progression. It is a process...not an event. So first off, if you guys haven't yet professed love for one another, then you aren't even close to what I have been talking about here, but if you have then just by virtue of being in love, a certain flow of things will lead eventually to subjects having to do with marriage. Don't rush things...your best friend is time. Use it wisely...Good Luck!

Any hint you make will more than likely make inch toward the door. If any ideas of marriage don't come naturally that should give you some idea of what life will be like after the wedding. If you absolutely must drop hints make them as subtle as possible.

brochures about family planning, pick up a copy of the free adversts for houses or the apartment guide at the covenience store and leave them laying out in the open together maybe throw in an advert flyer from a jewelry store with a couple of wedding ring sets circled.

Drop hints. But don't push him - men usually have problems with commitment.

well you kinda just have to start a conversation with him just be straight foward. you dont have to necessarily ask him to marry you but tell him youre ready for more serious stuff... or something like that you know? more of a commitment. you can tell right away if hes ready or not.

Are you INTENDING for him to flee?

Your options:

1 ask him if he's interested
2 Wait

If you're ready, and he's not, and you try ANYTHING but total honesty, most likely he'll run.

Very difficult question to answer without more details

Luck

tell him it is time for you to be thinking of getting married or starting a new life, with or without him.....the biggest failure is by NOT communicating openly and honestly.

Don't do that he will run. Talk to him about possibility and if he interested. Don't you be selfish, even if he may want to be.
